SVPZ LLC manufactures over 480 standard sizes of roller and ball bearings of various design groups, including big swing bearings used for different purposes.

One of the main conditions of the enterprise development is the continuous technical upgrading and introduction of new production processes.

The company has implemented a full production cycle - from design development, manufacturing of ring blanks to delivery of products to customers and installation supervision with subsequent after-sales service.

The SredneVolzhsky Bearing Plant has modern technological processes and high-performance equipment that ensure the quality and reliability of its products:
• serial   • non-standard   • as part of import substitution.

PRODUCTION STAGES
Blank production
  • production of billets by hot rolling;
  • foundry production of blanks of separators;
  • geometry control and analysis of the chemical composition and structure of the metal;
  • cutting of measured blanks of metal bars for rollers.

LATHE MACHINING OF RACES AND ROLLERS
Total machining of large-sized race blanks produced by metallurgical plants (in particular, Ruspolymet OJSC, UralKuz PJSC etc.) is performed in the turning shop.
The blanks and rolling elements are processed on vertical turning and facing lathes with new generation computer numerical control. The rolling elements that are needed for bearing assembly are subject to complete production cycle with application of hot-rolled rods made of different grades of bearing steel.

THERMAL TREATMENT OF RACES AND ROLLERS
The heat-treatment shop allows for complex processes of thermal and thermochemical treatment - carburization, metal hardening and tempering. The system of modern equipment is used for thermal treatment of products: tank furnaces, reheating furnaces, carburizing furnaces, induction heating units and cooling devices.
Carburization of bearing parts is carried out in natural gas environment with protective atmosphere (based on endogas) and controlled carbon potential.

GRINDING OF RACES AND ROLLERS
In grinding shop, the bearing parts are subject to grinding by abrasive tools to achieve geometrical parameters and roughness established by the design documentation.
The shop is equipped with the advanced grinding machines with computer numerical control enabling grinding of both ruled surfaces and complex radial profiles with displacement, diameter- from 150 to 2,000 mm.

FINAL ASSEMBLY OF BEARINGS
Different bearing components are assembled and additional operations (marking, part washing, preservation etc.) are performed in the assembly shop.
Before the bearing assembly, the quality of rollers and races is controlled. They must be free from any damage: scratches, burrs, plough defects, guide marks, metal corrosion spots, cracks. All surfaces are thoroughly wiped, dried and lubricated with a thin layer of lubricant before the bearing assembly. Assembly operations are performed only upon completion of the above activities.

QUALITY CONTROL

It should be noted that during each of the aforementioned stages the manufacturing process is carried out according to requirements of the total quality management.
SVPZ has several levels of product and blank quality control, including:

  • blank incoming control;
  • in-process control of each batch during manufacture based on the strict quality criteria, all the way to the end of the production cycle;
  • 100% control of each finished product.

SVPZ has own metrological laboratory complete with modern equipment, which is verified by the Samara Centre for Standardization and Metrology Federal State-Funded Institution according to the schedule.
